Jonathan Lofgren

Dr. Jonathan Lofgren, a native Minnesotan and person in Long Term Recovery (1987), holds a Ph.D. in Education, specializing in T & P. I. from Capella University. Jonathan is a Licensed SUD Counselor, and a Co-occurring Disorders Professional – Diplomate. Lofgren is on faculty at Minneapolis College where he founded the Collegiate Recovery Program in 2017. In 2021 Jonathan co-founded The Center for African American Recovery Development. Dr. Lofgren is a 2022 Sons of Bransford award winner for Education in Addictions, Treatment and Recovery to the African American Community, and 2023 is a Hall of Fame inductee into the Museum of African American Addictions, Treatment and Recovery.
