Our research program focuses on positive psychology, addiction recovery science, mHealth, implementation science, and addressing health disparities. We prioritize serving underserved populations, engaging in community-engaged research, and mentoring junior investigators. Through our NIDA-funded project to Advance the Science on Recovery Community Centers (R24DA051988), we are building a research infrastructure that enhances the study of recovery community centers with a focus on their utility for persons taking medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder. This includes, for example, a collaborative research project (R34) with the Detroit Recovery Project and the Northern Ohio Recovery Association to work towards a large-scale effectiveness study on RCCs. We are excited to expand hour research network!
