Sierra Castedo de Martell is a doctoral candidate at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health, Austin Regional Campus. She is a person in long-term recovery and her research focuses on the peer workforce and economic evaluation of peer-driven substance use interventions. She previously served as the Director of the Center for Students in Recovery at UT Austin from 2014-2019, and has served as a board member for Communities for Recovery since 2019.
