Saraiha Sampson

An Americorps alumnus, former foster child, and life-long advocate, Saraiha Sampson understands what it means to fall into the cracks of society and has dedicated her professional career to promoting equity, education, and social justice. In her work with Young People in Recovery, Saraiha has focused on bridging the gaps between full-time treatment and long-term recovery by expanding life-skills training programs and peer recovery supports to high-need individuals nationwide. Further, as an active member of each, Saraiha has been instrumental in the development and implementation of recovery resources targeted towards the LGBT+ and BIPOC communities. In her free time, Saraiha likes to serenade her corgi dog with Broadway show tunes, give her Xbox plenty of attention, and is an active volunteer in her city.
