Maurizio Guerrero is in charge of developing content for the Partnership. He primarily focuses on creating and acculturating articles and resources in Spanish, considering the specificities of the diverse Latinx communities in the United States. He has also contributed to developing the content in Spanish for the Partnership’s text messaging system and the learning courses for parent coaches and individuals with loved ones struggling with substance use disorders.

He previously was the bureau chief in New York and the United Nations of the then-largest newswire agency in Latin America and has also published articles in several progressive media outlets in New York, the United States, Europe and Mexico.

Maurizio holds a Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, concentrating on Latin America, Caribbean and US Latinx Studies, at the City University of New York (CUNY).
