Joey Supina is the Founder and the Executive Director of Sandusky Artisans Recovery Community Center, a Certified Ohio Mental Health Addiction Services Recovery Community Organization, and a 501(c)3 established in 1996. He is the Vice-Chair of the Ohio Mental Health Addiction Services Planning Council, Vice-President of the Board for Sandusky’s Safe Harbor Domestic Violence Shelter, Board member of Erie County Health Department, Director for the State-Wide Advocacy Network’s Northwest Ohio catchment, member of the Ohio Association of Behavioral Health Authority Recovery Oriented Systems of Care, past Board member of the Ohio Citizens Advocates for Addiction Recovery and a former Board member of the Very Special Arts Ohio. He is a Certified Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter, Supervisor, and a Trainer for the State of Ohio’s Mental Health Addiction Services Peer Support Curriculum. He is the artist in residence for the Mental Health Recovery Board of Erie & Ottawa Counties in Ohio. Joey is a person in long term Recovery for over 46 years.
