Javier is the Executive Director at Latino Behavioral Health Services in Utah. Javier’s passion for community-based work was born from lived and professional experiences. Javier has a BS in Business Administration and Finance and graduated from the Nonprofit Academy at the University of Utah. Javier has developed strong management, operations, fundraising, development, and communications skills throughout his career. Javier currently serves as co-chair of the Utah State Behavioral Health Planning Advisory Council, co-chair of Communities United for Racial Equity, council member of National Hispanic ATTC/PTTC/NLBHA, and a board member of the National Association of peer Supporters (NAPS).
