Gretchen Bergman

Gretchen Bergman is Exec. Dir./Co-Founder of A New PATH, a 25-year-old non-profit organization working to reduce the stigma associated with substance use and advocating for therapeutic rather than punitive drug policies. She was CA State Chairperson for Prop 36 in 2000 (treatment not incarceration). She was one of the 3 signers of Prop 64 in 2016 to legalize marijuana. She is lead organizer of international Moms United to End the War on Drugs. Since 2014 she has led her organization in providing overdose prevention and naloxone distribution throughout San Diego County.
