Ashley Gardner
Ashley Gardner has been in the field of recovery services since 2021. Ashley is a woman in long-term recovery. Thanks to her lived experience, Ashley now works as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist which allows her to work alongside people who struggle with substance use. In her active use, Ashley worked with a Recovery Navigator that helped her find her way to recovery and had a huge impact on her life. The support Ashley received from the Recovery Navigator inspired her to work in the recovery field.
Ashley is a CPRS employed with Beyond Brink and embedded in the Community Action Center of Northfield. Over the last year, Ashley has provided harm reduction support, referrals to treatment, and other services through her collaborative work with the Rice County Opioid Response Council, Mobile Opioid Support Team (MOST), and the Family Recovery Support Program. With the help of colleagues, Ashley was intricate in the formation of the first NA meeting in Northfield in over 2 years.
Ashley has found a true passion in working with adolescents. Ashley is a graduate of the Northfield Area Learning Center and now gets to spend time at the school she graduated from, supporting current ALC students through their recovery journeys.
Ashley is currently working towards a degree in social work and working towards becoming a LADC. Ashley is very passionate about the work she is doing and is looking forward to what the future holds.
